What were the particulars of the Weatherby Classic rifles? What years were they made and what cals?

All I can remember, were they had a oil finished stock.

Thanks.

Well, as I recollect, they were simply all the basic Weatherby rifles in a classic style oil finished stock. I really liked them. I believe (and this is just memory work)they were available in just the smaller Weatherby calibers (240, 257, 7mm, 300, 340). Hope this helps - Dan

The classic is still avalible from the Weatherby custom shop. It uses a traditional stock with an oil finish, it is avalible in all Weatherby calibers
