RMillerRich Dad , Poor Dad
Here are couple of good books : Rich Dad,Poor Dad and retire young, retire rich . Both by Robert Kiyosaki.
They explain the basics of money and wealth.

DavidCRMiller,
Both of these books have been recommended to me several times. I am certainly gong to read "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". I am about half way through "The Millionaire Next Door" which is also an excellent book and well worth reading.
This is the kind of material I wish I had 10yrs ago.
Regards,
Dave

RMillerDavidC ,
Read them as soon as you can . You might have to rethink the millionhaire next door idea though.
I believe that the MND talks about net worth while RD,PD and RY,RR talk about cash flow.
Happy reading. and learning.

DavidCRMiller,
You are correct. The millionaire next doors emphasis is on your net worth rather than cash flow. The discussion is often centered on investing (especialy in ones own business)as well as how millionaires and potential millionaire spend or don't spend their money.
Thanks,
Dave
