Century Trilogy
Just finished Ken Follets century trilogy. "The Fall Of Giants,Winter of the World, + Edge of Eternity".Chronicles the lives of 5 families through the 20th century.Starts with the Welsh coal miners in 1911 + goes through every historical happening in the last century with an emphasis on true happenings. If you like historical fiction, this will suit you.You had better as each of the 3 books are 1000 pages each, but you will not put them down. I recommend them highly, just wish there were more.

Never mistake motion for action.

Yes to the Trilogy. I've read all three - great books.

Another one of his that is most excellent is The Pillars of the Earth. Very realistic

Pillars Of the Earth was a good one as well as his first "The Eye Of The Needle" that was also made into a movie starring Donald Sutherland.
