Looking for recommendations on Central African history reading. Would like something that covers last fifty years to current. Thanks
studdog, are you looking for books that cover any specific countries? There is a sort of fault line between the former British colonies and the former French/Belgian colonies when it comes to good history books. I might be able to make some suggestions but the last fifty years is of course brand new in terms of history. Take a look at the bibliography with the attached link (you have to scroll way down to get to the 20th century) and you may get some ideas for geographical history as a start:
