A Sheep Hunters Diary
I just finished a book by Dr. Ronald S. Gabriel titled "A Sheep Hunters Diary".
It's been a long time since I read a book about hunting that was so full of
information about the countries, the animals being hunted, also the peoples of
each country. As well as the history of the areas hunted. What it was not,
was the usual tripe about technology and the usual advertising hipe. It was very
well written by a passionate hunter who's been there and knows why he's there.
I highly recommend it for the adventures that it contains, as well as the quality
of writing.

1/2 slamI bought the limited edition but have yet to read it. It's in the stack with 30 or so others. I looks good though.
This is a very good book on sheep hunting. It is different because the focus is not the kill but the culture of the hunt. I would like to have more info on the hunt but the book was worth reading twice so far.
