Last night I spent a couple hours rereading parts of Jack O'Conner's "The Hunting Rife" and "Hunting Big Game".
The guy sure knew his stuff back in his day. Too bad he is not around to give us his thoughts on the newer cartridges, calibers, etc.
One of his books, has cut-out drawings of almost every action common to his day.
His legacy is a national treasure for anyone who shoots or hunts with firearms.
