Game Loads and Practical Ballistics for the American Hunter
I just ordered this book from the alibris online store. Does anyone have this book? Just wondering if I made a good buy... I'm especially interested in the 375 H&H information. All comments are welcome.

Best Regards,

Bob Hagel's Game Loads and Practical Ballistics for the American Hunter is a modern classic. But that book was published before the latest super-premium bullets were produced and marketed. You should also be aware that some of Hagel's recommended loads exceed currently accepted maximums. But it's a great book. You chose well.

it is simply a superb book. Be careful with his loading data tho. He didn't have pressure testing equipment.

If you own a gun and you are not a member of the NRA and other pro 2nd amendment organizations then YOU are part of the problem.

This book has lots of good tips on where to shoot game and where not to. He was a great hunter, gun nut and writer. I have two of his books and love them.
