robthomBurnham - scout title?
I am trying to remeber the title of a new book about a famous nineteenth century American scout.
I believe his name was "Burnham", or something similar. He fought in the last big indian wars of the wild west, then was employed by the British when they invaded what is now Zimbabwe. He had an almost super natural ability to scout and evade.
I believe it is now available in the UK, last couple of years or less, from specialist book sellers. Without the author's name and exact tile, or very close, I am stumped.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.

RupertBearI believe you're thinking of "Scouting on two continents," by Major Frederick Russell Burnham (D.S.O., Chief of Scouts under Lord Roberts) published in 1926.
