Short Good Read List

My PH last year asked me for a short list of must read African hunting books. Mixing nonfiction and fiction, I came up with the following. Any other suggestions.

The Hunting Imperative
In the Salt
Months of the Sun
Horn of the Hunter
African Epic
Death in the Long Grass
Kambaku
Something of Value
Use Enough Gun
Uhuru
The Bell books
Adventures of Shadrek

Any other suggestions? Trying to limit it to things that are rather easily and affordably available.

I am enjoying my new copy of "Reminiscences of an elephant Hunter" by WDM Bell.That one is kinda pricey right now so in answer to your query I would recommend "Jungle Man " by P.J. Pretorious.It is still available on Amazon.

A country boy in Africa - George Hoffman
I added this because I'm currently reading it and it's a pretty down to earth book that would be good for someone who was planning a trip to Africa besides being a good story.
