I'm looking for a book that has pics of different African game and something that tells a little about them like their habitat and where they can be found.

Steve's suggestion is a good one. There also is an excellent handbook by Dorst & Dandelot that has been around a long time.

Don't overlook the SCI record books, either. They have photos of the top trophies, maps showing where each type of animal is found, text that describes their natural history and (in many cases) how they are hunted, as well as listings of who shot what, where, when and with whom.
