I am a little past halfway through it.Good book.Plenty of info on the history and development of hunting safaris in Kenya and Tanzania.There is a lot on all the names associated with these periods and who they were,where did they come from how they hunted along with their hunting career highlights.Honestly enjoyed reading it so far and still a lot more left to read.

tomahawkerAgreed, I've read it a couple times. Comprehensive on east Africa safari biz. Learned a few names ive never heard before. Its available digitally as well. I'd rather read the hard version but digital travels well.

shootawayI am almost finished reading it.What a pleasant surprise it has been.You also get to read of all the danges there are during stressful moments like during charges.Many exciting stories I have not heard of before.I am looking forward to my next book on African hunting.Who knows I might one day go back!!
If you like reading about charges then there is plenty of that.
