A D-Day Book - from the other perspective
D-Day Through German Eyes by Holger Eckhertz. Available as an e-book from Amazon.

Also a 2nd version called book two- more hidden stories from June 6th 1944

Interviews with German regular soldiers who were present at the beach heads on D-Day. An interesting read , giving an insight into the thought processes of the German Military at the time

The other sides perspective is always informative. I am currently reading "The Forgotten Soldier" about a german soldiers experiences on the eastern front. I also recommend the short story "Survivor" in Jeff Coopers book "To ride, shoot straight,+ speak the Truth."

Never mistake motion for action.
