Im reading the first edition of CACERIAS AFRICANAS BY FRANK HIBBEN one of the first weatherby award winners .Real good stuff ,by a real explorer .
I believe early weathertby winners were hunters -explorers that open many hunting terrains to the occidental world .Elgin Gates,McElroy,OCONNOR,Hibben ,etc etc perhaps BILL QUIMBY can help with more names and histories.
