Safari Press has this reprint from the golden age of the British Empire when officers stationed in Africa took their leave to hunt lions or to go "pigsticking" by lance.The Author is Capt. C.J. Melliss. It is a damned fine read.I 1st read it about 30 years ago or such + I was so taken that I bought several other copies to send to friends.You WILL enjoy it.
