Idaho SharpshooterIvory's Ghosts; good read?
My lovely wife is teaching a serminar at the University, and went to the bookstore at lunch today. For the princely sum of $2 she picked up a new copy of this book, by John Frederick Walker.
It was highly enough regarded that James Mellon wrote well of it. A historical reference to Ivory and how Mankind has valued it.

BaxterBI have it but not read it. Looks good on the flip through though. It's third in line behind The Rape of Nanking, and Mr. BAruch.
