Good reads
For the military types;
"NEMISIS" The Battle for Japan by Max Hastings, ISBN 978-0-00-721981-0 This is an excellent read, telling a piece of history from a broad perspective, warts and all. There are a number of gems, like Admiral King's daughter describing her father as an "Even tempered person, angry all the time." There is a lot of reading at 674 pages.

Then from the "sand pits;"

"BOMB HUNTERS" by Sean Rayment. ISBN 978-0-00-742796-3 A breed apart, those that take the long walk alone.

"DRESSED TO KILL" by Charlotte Madison. ISBN 978 0 7553 1961 9 An American born woman who flew three combat tours to Afghanistan in Apache Helos for the British Army. Also a good read and giving a different aspect.

"SEAL TEAM SIX" by Howard E. Wasdin and Stephen Templin. 978-1-8474-4549-0 I defy anyone to put this book down before they have finished it.

This should keep a few folk out of mischief for awhile. Cool
