Commando by Deneys Reitz
This wonderful book has been mentioned here, a long time ago. I want to mention it again. I have read it 4 times. It is one of the best adventure story that I have ever read. And, it's true. Most of the battles that he writes about took place on ground that we all now hunt on.

Another good book is Anti-Commando. It presents the view from the other side and includes lots of battlefield info, photos and maps.

I can second Reitz's book as a great read. Another favorite of mine is "Commando Courageous," by R. W. Shikkerling. One doesn't run across it very often.

Commando Courageous sounds great. I will look for it.
