NormanConquestACD reading.
Due to this lockdown, we seem to be rereading a lot of older ones as well. I pulled down off the shelf a few days ago one that I haven't read in years, but just like Tarzan of The Apes, it has not suffered from time. I'm speaking of the Complete Adventures Of Brigadier Gerard by Arthur Conan Doyle. Set in the Napoleonic wars our 'hero" is a Frenchman who can only be described in all his bluster + glory as only an Englishman (or in this case Scotsman) can do. It is a fun read. I'll bet it's available on Amazon.
