wetdog2084good gun movie
I went and saw public enemy last night it was a great movie especially if you like some great fire arms. Very well done all the guns look to be correct for the period. Really like the Mauser in the first part of the show. they even had the right pistol that Dillinger was carrying when he was killed.the sound was great. defiantly worth seeing in a theater. Best movie that I have seen in a while.
I agree. It was a well done movie.

homebrewerWhenever Hollyweird can get the slew of M1928s and 28A1s they have under lock and key out into the sunshine for some cinematic brutality, it's a good thing.
I had one of the original production M1927A1s that Auto-Ordnance put out way back in 1983. The bluing was deep and black, and the feel and finish on the wood was smooth and well-done. I paid just $483 for it. I sold the thing for less than half and bought Nikon cameras and lenses. I should have kept the gun and made an SBR out of it...
