Regretfully just finished "We Die Alone," by David Howarth. It is the story of Jan Baalsrud, the lone survivor of a clandestine mission to Nazi-occupied Arctic Norway, and the agony he had to endure, crippled by the cold, before reaching safety in Sweden.
Highly, highly recommended.
