Are any of you familiar with these shotguns? A friend of mine bought one the other day and it wouldn't automatic. So I took it apart and removed the brass ring from the top of the spring and put it back together - works just fine now - we are shooting light 1oz loads through it (dove season and all).
What I was wondering is...rather than completely remove the brass ring, could I put it on the bottom of the spring and get it to automatic with light loads and then put it on the top of the spring for heavy loads?
I have done a couple of web searches and haven't been able to come up with anything yet. So any insight would be appreciated.
