Hello all I am new to this forum and have enjoyed reading the wealth of information contained here.

A have in my possession a Charles Francis and Son, 12 gauge boxlock ejector shotgun in 2.5 chambers with 28 inch barrels. The serial number of the Gun is 12314AA.

I am looking for some information on this maker as it appears to have very fine wood and rose and scroll engraving and apparently came from the Nizam of Hyderabad's armoury in India.

Any help will be much appreciated
