Browning B25 o/u
Just wondering if the B25 o/u was originally designed as a game gun or for clay pigeon shooting? Also is it true that the B25 was the first o/u type shotgun? Thanks

They were built for field, skeet and trap and the first ones were built in 1931. They were not the first O/U ers built, not by a long shot. Merkel built them in the late 1800's.

Thanks, thats very interesting. I recently saw a pic of a Beretta percussion o/u which was brought out several years back as a limited run to commemorate something or other. Makes me think if percussion o/u's existed during the percussion days....
