Gents,

Has anyone bought and used this new Remington?

Gents,

I'll do my own response.

I saw and handled one today. At best a truck gun.IMO
Real rough, but you would have to expect that at $450.00.

Roger:

I don't shoot anymore but it was depressing to read that Remington, once the leading American shotgun manufacturer,(of quality guns for all of us, yes,I would have liked to have had a shootable Parker too!) is importing Russian shotguns. Your comments did not surprise me in the least! (I have little doubt but that if I had handled one of them, I would feel the same way!) I'm 74 and have watched Winchester, Iver Johnson,Harrington & Richardson, Stevens, Savage (yeah, I know they came back but without the 99)disappear as important American gun manufacurers. If the management of Remington thinks that they are saving the company's identity by importing (of all things) Russian DBs, then they are on the long slide slope to oblivion.
