muzzle braking the 10ga.
My Turkey gun is the NEF 10 ga. I love it but boy is it brutal!! Now the question; I think It needs porting, but by who??? Who do you people think has the best brake?
The gun uses choke tubes.

Porting is not partularly effective in shotguns-- not enough pressure to do the job. I've made the mistake of magna-porting a few barrels, a complete waste of money on a shotgun.

I get you "loud" though.

I'm no shotgun guru, but would it help to add a ported choke tube? Just a suggestion.

I'm with Randy. As far as I can tell, porting on a shotgun is only useful to minimze muzzle jump to help get on target faster for a second shot.

Doesn't really help much in the recoil reduction area.

Makes them louder, though!

I would look for a softer recoil pad. Pachmayr Decelerator, Kick-Eez, or Sims. There may be others.

I have a ported turkey choke, and I can't tell you whether it reduces recoil. By the time I change choke tubes and shoot again, I forget what the first shot felt like. If if was a big difference, I think I'd be able to notice. I still use the ported tube, because it gives me a tighter pattern than the other.

At least for the price of a $25 screw-in choke tube, you can get some idea what a more expensive and permanent Mag-Na-Port job will do for you.
