<Embalmer>Baikal IZH Model 27, O/U shotgun?
My buddy has one of these and we had it out hunting rabbits with it and my Mossberg 500. I liked the way the Baikal shouldered and was weighted. It just felt real nice and solid. Plus it aimed real nice.
I am thinking about getting one and I have seen them new for around $370. But I know nothing about them. Can anyone tell me more about em. And if you own one, what do you think about them? Are they worth getting? The price is certantly good enough. But is the shotgun up to par?

308winchesterThe russian Star Baikal are may be the most populare cheap gun here in Norway. In most well filled gun raks you'll find atlest one "star stick". Very common gun that has been on the marked for quite some time.
The are not the nices of guns and I personaly don't like the almost crude look of the gun, but you get a lot of gun for your money. You can spend some more on making the gun fit you.
A top shoter here in Norway said that it will probably last 10 000 shots. Thats about one season for a active trap shoter, for most hunters it will last a life time.
It's an okay tool for the job and not much more.
I have a friend that has one and I have shot it. It's okay. My friend hardly uses the gun.

p dog shooterI just got a combo in 12 over 7x57r shots slugs and rifle to same point of aim at 25 yards. The rifle will hold 1.5 at 100. Seems to have a tight choke reallys has a nice 00 buck shot pattern. Seems strong and useful I have shot 139s 145s and 173s they all shoot to the same point of aim at 50 yards.

It is going to be my deer drive gun so I can shoot grouse and not have to worry about missing a chance on a deer.
