Hi guys,
Yesterday I was in one our smaller gun shops and on the used rack I saw a semi auto 16 ga. made by Savage. The model number is 775 ( per the tag) It is not the sav. version of the A5, in fact it looks much more like a remington 1100 than anything else at least to me.
Anyone know anything about this model ? n The price seems right for a carry all the time gun.

They were Savages attempt to not have to pay royalties to John Browning for patent infrigement. Not very many were made, parts are almost none existent. I would pass unless it is very cheap and the shop is willing to guarantee it works.
