CARLOSTHEJACKALWho makes a good 2 barrel O/U set? It's back from Cole w/ pics!
Does anyone have suggestions for a O/U 2 barrel set in 12 and 28 guage? I'm usually a Beretta man but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I'm willing to spend between 3k-5k. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have a Winchester, Browning, and A Beretta. The Beretta is special and the others so-so. With a 12 and A twenty eight I believe you will have to purchase two seperate guns. Nice problem to have.

Kyler HamannHave you talked to the guys at Cole Gunsmithing.
They should have 28ga. barrels in stock for your Beretta 12ga. frame.
Cole 28ga barrels for 12ga BerettasI don't know of anybody else who would offer this.

DB BillSuggest you look at buying a good used K-80 12ga Skeet gun and put in some Briley choke tubes and then check out GunBroker or similar sites for a nice used 28ga skeet barrels and put choke tubes in that..... you can buy a nice kused K-80 for less than $5K and then add another $1000 to $1200 for the 28ga barrels and you have a top of the line shotgun that will last for you and your children and their children too.

CARLOSTHEJACKALI checked out the guys at Cole Gunsmithing. They seem to know their stuff. Has anyone delt with them personally? If so, how was the experience?
Thanks for all the input.

Mort CanardI have bought parts from Rich Cole and I have a friend who has one of Cole's customized Beretta creations. No problems here. Cole's reputation is first rate. Way above Beretta USA's shop in Acokeek, MD.
A set of 28ga. barrels on a 12ga. frame is something I have thought of myself and were I do decide to spring for it, I would have no qualms about sending my faithful 682 Gold off to Cole for the modifications.

CARLOSTHEJACKALWell, I mailed of my 686 to Cole yesterday for upgrades. They are going to fit 28 guage 28 inch barrels, convert to mechanical triggers, put AA walnut wood and possibly reblue. They said turnaround would be about 6 months. So hopefully when I get it back I will have a bad ass 12 guage 3.5 inch and 28 guage two barrel set with nice wood that will do everything from leopard follow up and geese to skeet practice at the range. I will post pictures when I get it back.
Thanks for the replies

CARLOSTHEJACKALMy Beretta is back from Cole! Total turnaround time was 6 weeks. Crusher posted the pictures for me.
Cole upraded my wood form xtra wood to AA walnut. Added a set of 28" 28 guage barrels. Converted the triggers to mechanical and added barrel bands.
So, total cost for AA walnut, 28 guage barrels, mechanical triggers and new sights was $2200.00
I could not be happier with the upgrades and the time was very fast. The folks at Cole Gunsmithing has were top notch and I would highly recommend them.
