Would there be any advantage in getting a muzzle break cantilever barrel over the regular hasting cantilever barrel other than the reduced recoil? Is there any difference in accuracy, etc between the 2? It would be going on my Rem 870. Thanks

I doubt there would be, accuracy should be the same--but every barrel can have a different personality. As long as the two barrels use the same type of rifling and are basicaly the same length there should not be any difference except for higher cost, less muzzle jump and some reduction in felt recoil with the ported barrel.
