LC Smith Beginnings.......
I've had this project for years. Im tired of moving the box its in so its time to get it done.

Specs.

LC Smith Field grade 32 in bbls.
Pete Mazur long tang trigger bow.
Skeleton buttplate.
Bastogne stock blank.

Bill,
That is going to look sweet. Do some stage photos as you go. Too bad you had to use that pointy skeleton, lol. I would bet with some judicous file work, you could get a poing on the end of the tang to match the butt plate.

That sure looks like a nice blank from what I can see. You might consider saving it for a BA rifle project & get a 2 piece blank for your LC. Good 1 piece blansk are hard to find & pricey.
Nice project though. The only thing I've never liked about LC's is their stock. Always too much drop for me.
