I acquired an Ithaca 16 gauge SxS that I know very little about, and was looking for some help.

I think it was purchased new in the late 1930s. It's a 16 guage, and has a pointer engraving on each side of the reciever. Where are some web resources for finding out more about it?

Ok, I was looking at some pictures on Gunsamerica and it looks like a Flues model. On the receiver it is outlined in a border that looks like /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ and it has a pointing Settler . The border is also on the top of the gun where the latch is, and on the bottom of the reciever is an 8 pointed star.
