I have a Ithaca Mod. 37 ultrafeatherlite. Can I shoot standard foster slugs & buckshot from this shotgun. It only shoots 2 3/4 shells. Dave

This 76 year old is already on record (on another thread) about his objections to the old "Featherlite" and won't bore anyone by repeating them. I laughed out loud on reading your post. My objections were in using the 37 on ruffed grouse with field loads - and I don't mean I objected to recoil! (This old man is in awe at anyone who wants to use slug loads out of a 37!)

Dave, YES you can fire Foster Slugs in your Model 37. Use an open bore or Improved Cylinder for greater accuracy. Also be prepared for the amount of recoil this Ithaca will produce!
