Where's the web site? I used to have one but I guess it shut down. I had a early Mod 12 20 but it was just too short for me. Today I pick up a 42 and it fits perfect. Go Figure. My 16 is a perfect fit too.

I have a model 12 in 20 guage that's worn out. I took it to my 'smith and he told me it would cost more to fix it than it's worth. Among other things the bolt comes unattached from the operating rod sometimes during cycling. I remember reading about some company that would rebuild a mod 12 20 ga and convert it to 28 ga. Does anyone know this company. I asked this question about a year ago and was given the email of a shop but my msges bounced back. Thanks.

There is no bluing left, but this gun is tight. I think it has been behind the seat in a pick-up for the last 70 years and not shot. Will take it to the range this weekend and pattern it. Might even bust a couple of clays. Can't beat a C note. Cobalt

I've been shooting Model 12 20 gauge shotguns for 40 years. Hunting Chukars on the Snake river is almost a joy with one of these guns. It's hard to find a nice one now days and they bring a good price. It's my favorite shotgun. I own 3 very nice examples. All of mine were built in the 50's.

I grew up with my Grand Dad's 16ga M-12. It was made in 1948 and I still shoot it regularly. I'm certainly not a competitive skeet shooter but consistant 23's are no task for the 16ga. Will try the 20ga this weekend. Cobalt

I also have a pretty nice old 20 gauge Model 12. Does anyone know if a vent rib barrel made for the Browning Model 12 repro will fit an original? Same question about the Model 42 .410.
