I have a friend who is looking at an Excell Arms(Sp?) side by side shotgun. Does anyone know anything about these? Are they any good? What price range? Thanks in advance.

Should be "Excel Arms" and made by Ignacio Ugarthechea. Excel was the importer. They are very nice using, shooting guns. Durable, etc. I have a half dozen 'em in various gauges. I paid from $325 - $450 for mine which are all boxlocks and two were new. Folks are learning that they are really good guns and prices are climbing. Mine were all bought over the past 5 years or so.
