HerrBergProblems with reloading components AND recepies.
Hi,
I live in Sweden and the art of shotshell reloading is virtually non-existant here. Well, I do not know anybody that reloads for shotguns anyway but such doesn't keep me away...
I can't get hold of the Lyman 4th edition of shotshell reloading here (not even Amazon has it in stock) and it's more or less a must since I plan to reload their 525gr Sabot slug, the hourglass-shaped one. And lead shots, of course. 12 gauge.
I just hope for you guys to be able to provide some load recepies for me. Maybe I'm lucky, there are a couple of Beretta semi-auto owners who owe me one since I solved the mystery with the bent carrier. There are a couple of Beretta semi-autos in the US that function properly today because of my efforts here
OK, here's the components I can get hold of with a reasonable amount of effort:
Hulls:
Cheddite 12/65, pre-primed
Fiocchi 12/70, pre-primed
Wads
Remington Wads 12 Gauge FIG8 1-1/8 oz
Remington Wads 12 Gauge R12H 1-1/8 oz
Remington Wads 12 Gauge R12L 1 oz
Remington Wads 12 Gauge RP12 1-1/4 oz
Remington Wads 12 Gauge RXP12 1-1/8 oz
Remington Wads 12 Gauge SP12 1-1/4 oz
Remington Wads 12 Gauge TGT12 1 oz
...and some weird danish "VP" wads, for various load weights
Powder
Accurate Solo 1000
Alliant 2400
Alliant Blue/Green/Red dot
Alliant Bullseye
Alliant Steel
Alliant Unique
Hogdon Universal Clays
Anything by Vihtavouri or Norma
Shot
Lyman sabot slug 525gr
Lead shot, different sizes and appropriate load weights
An alternative would, of course, to find an internet shop that ships to overseas destinations. Any ideas?
Best Regards,

SkinnerThese guys are pretty much the best for shotshell reloading components and info,
Ballistic Products Inc And they do ship international orders.
And
Alliant and
Hodgdon both have a LOT of shotshell reloading data online.
Then go to
ShotgunWorld for lots more info.
And do yourself a favor and find a Ponsness Warren 375 Duomatic on Ebay, usually around $100-200 U.S. Best loader for producing high quality handloads to experiment with in my opinion.
