<BMG>Browning gold 10ga light, 26" or 28" barrel?
I'm looking for a 10ga and have settled on a Browning gold 10ga light in the shadowgrass finish. I do a lot of waterfowl hunting and am looking for something with some more punch than what I am currently shooting (Gold 12ga 3", 28" barrel). I would like to use my 8ga SxS Parker, but the Feds frown on that.
Is there any difference in the 26" or 28" barrels as far as balance & swing? I've heard that the 26" barreled 10ga will be roughly the same length as my 28" 12ga if that matters any.
Any thoughts, opinions, or comments (besides "It'll kick the hell out of you") before I make my purchase?
Thanks,
BMG

Shane in WII have the BPS 10 with a 28" barrel and it is about the same length as my BPS 12 ga 3" with a 30" barrel. the 10 feels good and swings great with the 28" barrel. Other tried to talk me into the 24" barrel when I bought it claiming that it doesn't affect patterns or anything, but I went with the longer barrel. I have a friend who has a 30" Gold 10 ga and is happy with that as well. He only shoots turkeys with his. I ended up with the longest barrel (which was 28 at the time) and I'm very happy with mine.
