need barrel threaded for rem choke or other
Hello,

Can anyone recommend themselves or someone to thread my 870 wingmaster 12ga for rem chokes? If the barrels are not thick enough, what are some other options? I live in AZ.

Thanks!

Lots of gunsmiths used to do this, not sure how common it is now. Briley for sure but you might find it cheaper just to pick up another barrel that is factory fitted for tubes.

Do a google search on Mike Orlen. $35.00 to thread a choke supposedly, but you would have to contact him for the particulars. I am sending my Browning Auto 5 barrel to him.

I've had them done at Griffin & Howe...surprisingly affordable.
