Found an 1100 at a local store used for $340. The reason i'm looking at it is because my mom doesn't like recoil and I think this would be a good choice, what do you think?

Those Remington shotguns are nice shotguns.The kick on the semi autos are not that bad.Your Mom should enjoy it very much.Also that is a good price for a 1100.

we have one, it is nice, but for that price you could get a used 11-87 and only shoot light loads in it, that away should the need arise you could use full house 3in loads
