I,m thinking of buying a Charles Boswell side X side. It has 2 3/4" chambers and is nitro proof for 1 1/4 oz.Barrels are 30" long and serial number is 15342 with some nice engraving. Can any one tell me about this shotgun ,aprox value ,what they are like etc. Most of all ,is it strong enough to fire full power modern heavy field loads with SGs and slugs occaisionaly?
