Does anyone know for sure if the chokes of a Winchester 101 Supergrade 12 bore from 1985 are chrome lined or not? I know the bores are chromed but I want to have the chokes opened from 1/1 and 1/2 to 1/4 and 3/4.
I touched the steel inside the chokes with cold blueing paste which stains the metal blue. This makes me believe that the cokes are not chromed but I want to be sure before having work done to the gun.

If they are chromed it is not that difficult to have the last few inches of the bore un-plated before opening up the chokes. I have seen some that were done without this step and they were a bit of a mess.
