Fritz KrautFound a belgian Auto-5
I found an old belgian Auto-5 12g/3" today för about $35. It is old and a bit worn, but in good shape with no rust or pitting.
Should I buy it? Grateful for your opinion.

P. T.It would be VERY hard to pass on a 35 dollar shotgun, non the less an auto-5. AND if it functions fine.
buy it.

CustomstoxFritz, the A-5 barrels sell on ebay in the $300 range. #35 is a great bargain.

ShopCartRacingPoly Choke just resurfaced, I saw them at the SHOT Show.
The neatest new thing they offer is a Poly-Choke system sttatched to a screw-in choke so you have the ability to take it on and off.

f.s. piekarczykI bought a Jap A-5 recently which had what the dealer said was an original factory poly-choke installation. This was likely done at the St. Lopuis distributor. This is supposed to be a somewhat rare modification. This was a Light
Tweleve - always wanted one since I had one in 1968. At that time they POW grip was checkered around the cruved shape of the bnottom of the grip. This one doesn't have that and is cut off flat across the bottom - likely a time and cost saving factor.
