Locking lever leaning left. Is this a problem?
I just purchased a used Fox B double online. It is in super nice shape with 98% blue and wood. It looks like at most there's been a box of shells through it.

But...the action bar leans to the left instead of the center or leaning to the right.

Is this a problem? I've always been told this means excessive wear, but I can't understand how since the gun is virtually unused. If it is a problem, is it an easy fix or how much would a 'smith charge for something like this?

Also, with the action closed, when I move the locking lever all the way to the right, it springs back no farther than the center. The action locks up tight and snaps shut nice.

Any help is appreciated.

It's normal - my $1800 Citori does the same thing. It does annoy me though!

Just my .02 worth, but if the lever is originally designed to be to the right of 6 o'clock and is now AT or past that point, it's time to take it to a gunsmith.
I know with Beretta's and Brownings that's what the reps tell me.

Problem solved.

I sent it back for a refund.
