TriStar G2 Viper Semi-Auto Shotgun?

Does anyone know anything about this shotgun? I've never heard of it before and a society I'm affliated with is thinking of giving one away at an upcoming meeting.

Instructor

Some members at local trap/skeet club have them and like them, but they are not felt to be a long lived gun. Why that is believed I can't say, but only time and shooting will verify that.

I own one of these in the home defense versions. It is adsolutely reliable, has never jammed, and is easy on the shoulder. Mine sits beside my bed loaded with #4 buck, ready for any varmit that enters unwanted.
