charles daly bc miroku
Hello, I was given a charles daly (bc miroku) o/u superior model (I believe). 20 guage, 3 inch chambers, 26 inch barrels. Safety is not automatic, and the trigger is not selective; the top barrel is +- and the bottem is ++. Could someone tell what this gun is choked and any other info about this model, thank you for your help, Jsal

I think you own a very serviceable, utility O/U. In their day they were a great alternative to the Browning. The +- is Improved Modified, I believe and the ++ is Modified. I may be incorrect as it would make more sense to be ImCyl and Mod.

The Daly Miroku was a well-regarded gun. It is fundamentally the precursor to the Browning Citori (also made by Miroku). Since it has 26" barrels, it is likely to be choked IC and Mod, but choke constriction standards have changed since the advent of protected shot columns, so your gun may shoot modern ammunition a little tighter. You've been given a very nice gift.

if the +'s are the same at *'s then its Mod and IMp mod. I have a CD Venture, 12/28 2 3/4 chambers and think it is absolutely as quality as my brothers new citori and a hell of a lot lighter. Its mod over a tight full and I need to have it opened but it is a very nice shotgun. Enjoy!
