2-1/2 inch shells
Does anybody know if the Mauser shotguns are 2-3/4 inch or 2-1/2 inch chambers and where can I find 2-1/2 inch 12 gauge shells?

They make paper 12x2 1/2" or universal plastics (both 65 and 70mm chambers) 12x67.5mm

Not sure about the Mauser shotguns?????

I had Sauer that shot the shorter shells and that's when I started reloading. It was nice to reload some light loads for the light doubles in 12ga.. I didn't know much about reloading shotgun shells but had a gunsmith buddy of mine that help set up my mec reloader and it worked out great.
Regards,
Terry

WEstley Richards and RST make 2 1/2 inch shells.
You can order Polywad over the phone. Good price in case lots. I've ordered a couple cases, good service, good folks.

Balistic products sell some loaded Gamebore shells for 2 1/2" chambers.
An other idea is to have the chambers reamed out to 2 3/4" length ,for ease of ammo avablity.

If you search the web for "Kent shotshells" you'll find a host of sources.
