ClementMaverick 88
I picked up a Maverick 88 pump shotgun this weekend. Does anybody have any experiences with this gun? From what I can tell, it is just a Mossberg 500 with synthetic stocks.
Thanks

<Crash>Your right, they are the economy Mossberg 500 model. Most parts inter change. I have had a couple. Not hard to work on, but usually require a little work to get them to fuction right. One had a pur on the locking lug which caused it to lock up if you fired heavy loads, and the other had a problem with the operating rod engaging the magazine release. Both problems only took a few minutes of stoning to fix. Once working, they shoot OK and are cheap enough to carry as a beater in the truck.
The biggest problem is resale value, about $100 max in good condition.
