BiebsSears Pump Shotguns-Maker?
Does anyone know who made the pump shotguns sold by Sears when they sold firearms? An elderly neighbor brought over a couple pieces for me to sell for him. One is a Sears lever action in 35 Remington. I know they were made by Marlin-Glenfield. But I don't know what manufacturer made the 12ga pump. It is in pristine shape, and has a Polychoke on it...so probably from the 1960s.

BiebsYes, i see that both High Standard and Winchester (Model 1200) supplied Sears with pump shotguns, but neither looks like this one. It could be that they made a different-designed forend just for Sears to make it look different. The front of the forend if angled back, like a bevel cut in profile. Not a huge deal...just curious.

BiebsMike, thanks for the tip. The Sears Model 21 was made by High Standard. Case closed :-)

StonecreekSavage made the Sears SxS (identical to Stevens 311). It is possible that Savage also built some pumps for Sears, but all I have ever seen in the post-War era were High Standard (earlier) and Winchester 1200 (later).

youngoutdoorsBiebs, Can you post a pic. Seems like the S&W 916T may have been too. Just can't remember.
