22 TCM and a suppressor
Is the 22 TCM too much for my Dead Air Mask 22HD suppressor? It says it can handle up to the 5.7 x 28 (50,000 psi). I shoot the TCM in a rifle.

From their website,

Caliber rating
22LR, 22MAG, 17HMR, 17 WSM to 5.7×28

A quick search shows several references to 40,000 psi in the tcm. Might be worth inquiring at rock island for their figures.

Think I'll see what Dead Air says also. Thanks.

Good news, Dead Air Rep said the energy level of the TCM was below what the Dead Air Mask HD is rated for. The Dead Air rep said it's not the chamber pressure (5.7 x 28 50,000 vs TCM 40,000?) but the energy level that matters, over my head but it is good to go with the TCM. Now I just have to thread my RIA TCM rifle barrel.

Now I need a suppressor for my 50 bmg but that won't happen as they are more than the rifle itself.
