Solvent adapters????

Solvent adapters????
a friend told me about them, they're on amazon and ebay.. really cheap.... its probably a fine line from being a suppressor.... ideas???

It would be illegal to install it on your firearm AND add an oil filter AND fire a bullet through it as you would be making a suppressor with out the requisite tax stamp.

Otherwise, it's just a piece of threaded steel.

There is a fellow selling them as part of a unit that the BATFE has approved. However, you may not change the oil filter yourself; it has to go back to an 07/SOT.

See how narrow it is? Too narrow to cover the holes that ring the threaded hole in the filter. Only a real fool would use this to attach an oil filter silencer.
