LeftoverdjToo soon old,
too late smart.
About 1975 a co-worker gave me about a half bushel of odd cartridges from his dead father's junk box. Over his protests, I gave him fifty bucks. Took the box to a couple of gunshows and sold the contents for something over $300 bucks.
There was everything in that box. M-79 dummy to a couple of Lilliputs. Dardick trounds in both .22 LR and .36 Special. Spencer rimfires to something that looked like a double necked .50 BMG.
I felt so guilty that I gave him another $25. Had I kept that box, it would buy me a car now. Maybe a new Volvo.
Btw, The dead father was Joe Smith, second editor of Small Arms of the World.
